Windsurfing Holidays in St Martin, Dutch Antilles
The east side of St. Martin always gets steady trade winds. They blow from the left between December and April (14-25 knots) and from the right between June and September (12–20 knots). May is the least windy month. From late June to the end of October, there can be cyclones.
The sailing area is a one-kilometre-wide sandy lagoon with some shallow spots. It's shielded by a reef about 400m from the shore. The reef creates excellent wave riding conditions with waves between 1 and 3m all year – fantastic! The lagoon's water is warm, calm, and safe – perfect for learning windsurfing and great for freeride and freestyle.
St. Martin is ideal for families, kids, windsurfers, surfers, SUPers, and kiters of all levels. It's rare to please so many at once, but trust us – St. Martin does it all! The colours are surreal and very captivating!
