Kitesurfing Lessons with a personal instructor gives you the opportunity to have a 2-on-1 interaction with your instructor to help you learn at a pace that is driven by you. The Learn To Kitesurf course aims to get you riding, while also teaching you how to read the conditions and utilise your equipment safely and correctly.

You will start with the basics; this includes setup of your equipment, safety features that you will utilise and how to fly a small 2metre trainer kite. When your instructor feels you are ready you can then head to the water. On day one you will only be using the kite and not go on the board just yet. Entering the water is when the fun starts! Here you will be taught how to properly fly an inflatable kitesurfing kite, how to control your kite and what to do if you crash it in the water. On day one you will be comfortable flying the kite and know what to do in any situation.

Windsurfing Holidays in Essaouira, Morocco

The wind in Essaouira predominantly blows cross offshore from the right. Mornings are the best time for beginners, and kids as this is before the wind has picked up, and in turn, the sea is a lot calmer. After 11am the wind has really begun blowing and is when the more experienced windsurfers begin to launch. By 12 o'clock the wind has picked up significantly and continues to blow stronger throughout the day. The wind in Essaouira blows strongest in July and August, and in these months it is regularly a very, very high wind destination, but the wind is reliable all the way from April until November.

You can learn to wingfoil in Essaouira, but due to the wave conditions, this would be pretty challenging. Essaouira is best suited to those who can area Wing Foil and would like to try getting into waves; this is when Wing Foiling can get exciting!

In Essaouira, the wind mainly blows from the side and comes from the right when you look at the sea. Sometimes, it's less steady, a bit gusty, and shifts slightly away from the land.
